A Beetle in the Anthill (work in progres)
Director & DP – me. Between wanting and being wanted, a solitary figure moves through a world not built for him. Set inside a restless system, the film unfolds as a semi-documentary self-portrait shaped by isolation, rejection, and the loss of an addressee. Desire, power, and vulnerability intertwine as the gaze of the other becomes both threat and necessity. After the father’s death, symmetry collapses, and meaning survives only where it is seen. A Bug in the Anthill is an anti-sentimental meditation on solitude, agency, and the fragile hope of being recognized.
